Canasta Solidaria

The initiative Canasta Solidaria de la Alegría was born to help the families of children and young people who participate in the FUSALMO programs in Santa Ana, San Miguel and Soyapango, as a result of the emergency that El Salvador faces due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This project is a support to families who have lost their jobs, who subsist from planting and marketing their vegetable crops, which have been completely lost due to storms Amanda and Cristóbal. Likewise, for those who have been affected by the suspension of their contracts or have been fired and who do not have daily sustenance.

Solidarity Baskets of Joy

Luxembourg Foundation joins FUSALMO for the delivery of the Solidarity Baskets of Joy, which arose to help the communities near the FUSALMO headquarters, mainly to the families of children and youth that are part of the Foundation's programs.

Given the emergency faced in El Salvador due to COVID-19, recreational kits for children were delivered as a way to stimulate their mental health. Hygiene kits and seeds for the creation of home gardens were also delivered.

Besides, we contributed to the construction, repair, and purchase of materials for home improvements, as due to the storms many families were affected.
